Megan completed her undergraduate degree in human resources at the University of British Columbia. She attended law school in New York at Hofstra University and was called to the bar in New York in 2014 and in British Columbia in 2015. She then received her accreditation from the Law Society of British Columbia as a family law ADR professional in 2018. Megan is developing a family mediation practice to serve clients throughout the Okanagan.
Megan has a general practice, with a focus on family law. Her practice areas include family litigation and mediation, desk order divorce, separation agreements, custody arrangements, support issues, access for grandparents, and cohabitation agreements. She also handles civil litigation matters, real estate, wills and estates and some corporate work.
Megan is involved in several organizations in the community, including the Penticton Women in Business as well as the Chamber of Commerce in Penticton and Summerland. She recently became a mediator for Access Pro Bono’s new Virtual Family Mediation Project and is excited to provide mediation services to the Okanagan.
Megan and her husband live in Penticton with their two children and two dogs. They enjoy walking along the KVR and channel as well as visiting wineries in the surrounding areas.
